About Me

Hi, I'm Victor! I am a teaching assistant and PhD candidate in Biostatistics at the University of Waterloo. My research interests include causal inference, life history analysis, longitudinal data, and survival analysis. From May 2022 to December 2022, I worked at Statistics Canada as a methodology intern, contributing to the General Social Survey and the Census of Agriculture. In June 2023, I graduated with distinction from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics, majoring in Biostatistics. I then earned a Master of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo, writing a research paper on causal inference under interference before graduating in October 2024. My dissertation topic is causal inference for life history processes under informative observation mechanisms.
